I came back to London after 16 days in Turkey, worked for two days, then got sick for three. And not just a little sniffle and cough, mind you, more like head-aches-body-pains-coughs-nose-running-I-don’t-wanna-eat-I-thought-I-was-gonna-die kind of illness. Do you know the kind of illness when you feel so low that you thought this is going to be it? That your body would never be able to recover and you’d just be in that state your whole life? No? Just me?
Anyway I fondly called it Turkey fever. And that means I haven’t been able to even download the photos into my machine, let alone compose a coherent narrative.
I have however been playing with storify.com and decided to let the tidbits of my sporadic updates on facebook and instagram tell the story. If you read this on your mobile, email, or feed reader, I don’t how this is going to look like, as I’m embedding storify page into this page. If nothing appears on your tiny screen, please view it on proper browser.
In my next post I will try to compose the coverage to Turkey, with tips and tricks for traveling the country. If you have been flirting with the idea to visit, do not miss out.

Hah yes it is. I’ve actually known about it before seeing it in action by framestore, but never delved into it much. This seems like a good opportunity š

[…] Turkey as a country had been high on my destination list ever since I arrived in Europe. Why Turkey? Rich history, amazing natural wonders, and one thing which I just found out when I traveled in the country – wonderful people. I traveled for 16 days, and interacted with dozens of people, all the while was sort of expecting one of these tough looking men to cheat me dry or ditch us in the middle of nowhere, but it never happened. In fact the Turks’ hospitality has been probably the most impressive I have encountered in all my travels. (for bits of stories you could check my last week’s Turkey Storifyed) […]
